OUR STORY

Founded in 2023, Eco-Belleza consists of a team of 3 ambitious young entrepreneurs, inspired by a mission to treat acne with only simple, organic ingredients. Co-founder Kato had a sister who  used to have suffer from severe acne, which caused deep insecurities and depression. He met Nassuuna and Jankson at Jangu International, where together they began ideating a solution to acne issues in young women.

Unlike traditional skin care products, which use harmful chemicals like mercury and hydroquinone, we source from nature. Eco-Belleza purchases ingredients from local farmers, and uses Indigenous knowledge to devise our recipes for clear, acne-free skin. We envision a world where women feel confident and attractive.

Acne can effect more than just your skin. In study, after study, researchers have found that skin conditions can also result in depression, anxiety, low self esteem and feelings of loneliness. To find remedies, many people, women especially, use varieties of oils and lotions which are frequently highly processed containing many chemicals and dyes. Some of these products even aggravate conditions and lead to adverse effects like skin bleaching and increased risk of skin cancer. Natural and organic skincare products are often more expensive, making them inaccessible to the average consumer, creating a gap in the beauty industry. WE AIM TO CLOSE THE BEAUTY GAP.
